About Us

Current Concepts Institute (CCI) is dedicated to delivering contemporary continuing medical education (CME) to health care professionals with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of the care delivered to the public. These CME activities are designed to change the clinical competence or professional performance of the learner and/or improve patient outcomes independent of commercial bias. CCI also develops, manages and provides accredited continuing education whose teachers are recognized as clinical, surgical and scientific thought-leaders and present evidence-based information to address professional practice gaps.

The CCI team has been directly responsible for the planning, content creation, marketing, meeting management, and ACCME reporting for more than 60 successful meetings, including Current Concepts in Joint Replacement^® (CCJR^®). In addition, CCI serves as consultants for global events organized by international professional societies, world-renowned hospitals and medical device manufacturers. CCI has evolved from a non-accredited entity to an ACCME-accredited provider and our meeting management experience provides valuable insight into implementing successful in-person, online, or hybrid CME activities as efficiently as possible.

As many can relate, with the ongoing challenges of COVID-19 and the restrictions on face-to-face meetings, it is imperative that we ensure the ongoing education of medical professionals. We have all had to pivot to alternative communication pathways and adapt to professional strategies to gain successful outcomes. CCI is no different and developed this website to address the high demand for access to quality, continuing medical education activities at a reasonable cost.
